  1. When we receive God’s peace, we will be able to face anything that is thrown at us. Emotions can be our friend and enemy. If we let emotions completely take over, then we would be less likely to see what God has planned for us.

  2. A quote from the first paragraph – “He (God) wants men to be concerned with what they do; our business is to keep them thinking about what will happen to them”. God wants us to focus on who we are, Screwtape would guide us to operate on circumstances and fear. Who I am in Christ is redeemed, loved, Spirit filled and more than a conqueror!

  3. God wants us to grow in our challenges. He wants us to trust Him fully and not worry about the outcome but to trust His process. We do this by demonstrating patience through prayer and setting aside distractions.

  4. What I think is that once we submit our will to God our needs will be met. “Thy will be done”
